Transfers from and to the airport

When planning your way to the airport and back, there are basically three options:
  • Airport Transfers in Berlin
Taking a cab: Usually a good choice, please make sure the driver is okay before going into the cab. It doesn’t happen often, but we’ve had a few guests that were really overcharged for their ride. Another thing you should pay attention to is the license plate, which should begin with a “B” (for Berlin); if it doesn’t, it means that the cab is registered elsewhere and that the ride would cost you a little bit more.
  • Booking a private chauffeur: This is more expensive than a cab, but the chauffeur will be waiting for you at the airport holding a sign with your name and will help you with your luggage. Booking a chauffeur also makes sense if you assume that one cab won’t be enough (depending on the number of people and the amount of luggage), because big vans can sometimes be hard to get on your way out of the airport. If you’d like to book such a service, we could help you with our contacts.
  • Last but not least, you could of course use Berlin’s public transportation – depending on the amount of luggage you have, that might be your best choice - and definitely the least expensive.
In case of doubt, please don't hesitate to ask for our advice.
